There are many accommodations in Iran from guest houses to 2-5 star hotels. The main touristic cities are Tehran, Shiraz, Isfahan, Yazd, Tabriz, Mashhad, Kish, Ahwaz, Qom, Kashan and Bushehr.

Since 2014 the number of tourists visiting Iran has increased dramatically whereas the number of hotels has not increased as much. Thus, it is very difficult to book a hotel in high season. In high seasons, Iran top hotels are full from months earlier due to the limited number of rooms which is not increasing with the same rate as the number of tourists.
